Why don’t aeroplanes flap their wings?
Another of those four year old questions. Unusually I was able to answer him straight away. I explained about the jet engine and how it makes the plane go very fast. Then I explained about the airfoil and how it gives the aeroplane lift.
What amazes me about the answers I give to Isaac, is that it doesn’t matter how simple or how complicated the explanation I give he always accepts it, even why I say I don’t know. Life is so simple to him. If I say aeroplanes fly because of jet engines and airfoil then they do! It reminds me of what Jesus said about accepting him.
