Laptop Batteries

I just bought a new battery for my lap top for only £35. It seems to be working fine at the moment. It is a reconditioned battery from Hong Kong. The casing is battered and you can see that it has been prized open and repaired but it is working a treat! I thought that with the current exchange rate being quite good that I would be able to buy a battery from America much cheaper than I would get one here. I found it on Ebay, paid by PayPal and it was shipped directly from Hong Kong and arrived in less than a fortnight. The user I bought from was: pcglobe You can visit their Ebay items.

Blog comment spam

Blog comment spam is very frustrating. Comments can be posted on any entry automatically. I have been hit by web gambling sites, that throw tons of links into their comments. They do it in order to improve their search engine rating.

I have combated this by moderating all comments (which isn't much bother as I don't get many comments). Google, MSN, and Yahoo have announced that they are offering support for a new tag rel=”nofollow”. Which will decrease the importance of a link in they eyes of the search engine.

Hopefully Wordpress will automatically insert the tag into comments in the future. It is unfortunate that this is only a partial solution because the comments are still in your blog and legitimate links will be affected.
